Klaipeda Science and Technology Park

Klaipėda Science and Technology Park (KSTP) is a business support agency focused on promoting innovations. KSTP provides specialized services in the areas of green and blue (marine) technologies, which we have established as our priorities. We are actively involved in international project activities, as well as in the formation and coordination of partnerships and clusters.

KSTP specialists provide consultations which are mostly related to the issues of establishing and developing their business, creating new products and services. 

Strong partnerships with Klaipėda University and other scientific institutions both in Lithuania and abroad, enables to provide a wide spectrum of scientific research and experimental development (SR&ED) services, and offer them to businesses.

KSTP is a coordinator of the Lithuanian LNG cluster, that was founded in the year 2016. Cluster aims at establishing Lithuania as LNG technology and distribution center in Baltic Sea Region by developing knowledge, technology and business partnerships in order to enable LNG business models, establish Lithuanian LNG terminal as a distribution hub for the region.

The opening of LNG competence centre in Klaipėda was an evidence of purposeful activity and strategy of cluster supported by all its partners. Currently 17 members belong to the platform.

KSTP is a public institution and a non-profit organization. It was established in 2002, in cooperation with Klaipėda University and the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Lithuania (Ministry of the Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania – since 2019).
