It was over 50 years ago, in 1967, that the first tipping truck with the name Remitrans was christened in the small Pajottenland village of Kester. Transport for the benefit of farmers was the focus at that time. A decade later the company took on a new challenge, storage and distribution with covered wagons for all Brico stores in Belgium. And the plans for the future are promising, in the context of the environment and relief of the Belgian road network, Remitrans is working towards multimodal transport and in 2009 the company took possession of its first warehouse of about 10,000m² right next to the railroad.
